I've decided to unsub and will let my account expire in a few weeks.
Over the last 8 years I've gotten to know some absolutely amazing, creative, thoughtful, and wonderful individuals inhabiting the other side of the computer screen all over the world.
Some of you RP peoples are consistently amazing writers, creative individuals, talented artists, and all around great people to have spent so much time inhabiting an imagined universe together. You will be missed and fondly remembered.
I will look back on most of my interactions with you all with a smile and extremely happy memories!
A few quick things:
1. I've got a few weeks left, and will do the IC related announcements later today. If you've got IC business to wrap up with Silas (secret confessions, secret hates, fist bump goodbye, who knows what), you'll have 2 or 3 weeks to get any RP done that you'd like to. I'm still having the big 'party' but now it will be an IC going away party. Fun times for all!
2. I'd love to stay in touch with a lot of you out of game! I wont be using backstage for a few months at least (need a clean break). If you'd like to contact me you can friend me on Steam via the handle "TakeItEasyMon." If you'd like to email me you can do so SilasVitalia@gmail.com
3. No you can't have my stuff. :D I'm putting the character into mothball and not biomassing, in case of 'wtf awesome' expansion that might happen someday to bring me back.
Anyway it's been (mostly) awesome and will miss many of you.
I've got a few threads for IGS coming up so tune in if you are bored.

Silas will be back... Evil never dies in the EVE universe, it just goes on soul-searching journeys to figure out how to become more evil.
Was an honor RP'ing with you, Silas. I hate to lose one of my main IC rivals; I was really hoping to fight you some time. But I hope I'll get the chance in the future!

Sorry to see you go! Even if we didn't rp directly all that much... (we never had a chance for the characters to meet in person during Luna's "innocent phase" when she'd have done that) you definitely caused/influenced a lot of rp for me in Amarr circles and affected some long-term personal arcs/goals.
I hope you'll be back!

I likely won't be resubbing also—I've hardly even been here in the past year now, anyway—but one can expect Safai to be at the farewell.
My memories with you folk, in-game and out, are to be cherished, and I think it's safe to say I'll never play an MMO the way I played EVE.

You'll be missed, Silas. Even though Mit's interactions with you usually amounted to= Mit:"Heretic" and Silas:"Boring" I always enjoyed reading what Silas was up to and saying.
I'm sure you'll be back someday :)

I wish I hadn't been so sporadic with my playtime the last couple of months. I would've loved to get into all manner of shit with Silas, adversarially or otherwise.
Enjoy life to the fullest. Your contributions to RP were always interesting and enriching to the RP scene as a whole. o7

I hope you will enjoy retirement, nearing 1 year unsubbed myself now, doing fine. Lot's of time freed up for other stuff.

I am now really sorry I mised this chance to say goodbye to Silas.
Still, I'll leave this here.
Even after such a long time I can say with suriety that I will miss having the chance to hang out with you here, you're a great pilot and an excellent mate.
Have fun outside of EVE, It certainly does make for a change of pace :P
