I'd like to thank "Team Sansha!" for finally, finally, achieving that moment we've dreaded for so long. Merging Twilight and Eve Online. Everyone opposed to Nation can now be secure in our masculinity while we revel in the disclosure that you apparently have a "sparkle implant." This will, of course, give us the strength to fight on I'm sure. But because I can't possibly do this justice in any other way, I present the edited transcript of this shocking revelation.

When I was crafting it and it was all done and ready to go, I was looking at it and thinking, "There is something wrong with this". There normally is, it's usually a spelling error.

You should totally have the reason he escaped was to save his girlfriend from a group of well muscled Gallentean body-modders who have augmented themselves as a pack of furry wolves.
I'd totes read that slash-fiction adventure about Akai Juugatsu... oh, oh, and you should have the story narrated by the girlfriend in question so we can feel all her innermost thoughts and desires.

The best part is, I had Fraxi plaster his name across 20 systems in Placid, so there are probably a lot of people who now know about his name

Its gotten too much exposure already, someone would call them out on the name swap.

I think part of the reason for the lack of the alt was to prevent people from (rightfully) running a locator agent and going "He's in the Gallente newb system. Reward please". If he's not in the database, they can't pull that.

But if there were no alt, they could make an alt, and still say "He's in the Gallente newb system" without running locator :s

^^ This. The OP on the IGS does sort of cover for this situation with the DNA record thing. Just claim it's some guy pretending to be him to be an attention-whore, and that's more or less that.
Assuming that it's not Ghost playing Sanshananigans with you guys, however, taking over someone else's NPC - godmoding them, really - is an incredibly dick move. Doing shit like that without prior consent is unequivocably Doing It Wrong™, and whoever's doing it is probably not going to like the results when they get found out.
Given the size of our community it's only a matter of time anyway.

As the main organizer of the RP arc I did not contact any individuals to create this character. For all foreseeable reasons, this is an independent acting of their own will.
However, if they play ball correctly and obey the rules of the road, I am interested to see how they run with this opportunity. This was anticipated to happen to some extent, as the name was not being name camped for different reasons, so the opening messages had clauses for it. The DNA Morwen mentioned is a very good one.
If the person is trying to derail the plotline for the public or otherwise maliciously damage it, I am reasonably certain of being able to clean it up and keep everything healthy. I won't be kicking them out of involvement just yet, since I have no idea what their intention is, so they can participate if they are sporting about it.

Talks are starting with the player behind the Akai character, I'll be working out how we might be able to cooperate for the arc plot.

I did this once, and yes, it was a dick move. It was, however, a deliberate dick move that successfully trolled the piss out of a goon. I was not proud, but many lols were had.

This kind of thing happened more than once in the early days of Yuni's character.
most of the time things were easily dealt with, bringing people who were interested into the group or asking them to hold off for a while (during the crimson path war)
but then.... well... arcane primus.
sometimes people can be irritating simply because they think damaging your RP or plotline is a good way to make a name for their character.
as always, i would suggest caution.

Ok the first part of the Akai Juugatsu public interaction is now active, as per Ghost's IGS post. Short of beating someone with the THINGS ARE IN SPACE GO FIND NAO I don't know how else to put that IC.
