I think what you want is 'moderate conservative.' 'Liberal conservative' can be interpreted to mean 'conservative liberal' as word order isn't enough to clearly communicate which platform, the liberal, or the conservative, gets the greater focus. You see, some of our English speakers in our community don't have it as their first language, so short of doing one of Gaven's issue spreads with 0-10 scales...yeah.
