This is why I generally don't RP anymore. RP in eve is rough enough. No reason to collude with the old guard peanut gallery.
1. You are dealing with the old guard who basically believe that if you didn't RP since day one you are a waste of space.
2. New ideas and new takes on RP ideas are generally frowned upon by said old guard.
3. PF snipes by the lazy are abundant.
4. It just isn't worth it. The current RP community is the AIDS of RP in eve.
