Title: Philae
Post by: Lyn Farel on 14 Nov 2014, 13:17
So how is that nobody is even talking about Philae (http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-30055383) ?  :P

I hope it doesn't die of battery...  :(

Regardless if it permanently loses power, it is an excellent achievement and Europeans should take pride the in accomplishments of the ESA team they fund and support (to include letting their elected representatives know that it is worthwhile and important).

Rosette and Philae are excellent engineering and organizational accomplishments worthy of praise.

some of the comments on the radio news coverage of this, reminded me of Kerbal Space Program.

"We're getting a lot of science from the lander", and so on.

Yes, maybe i'm just being greedy, it's already awesome as it is. I can't even imagine how frustrating it can be for the team themselves.
