Yeah, I know, Rome2 is out, but damn, it sure seems quiet around here. And I'm enjoying some beer.
SO!
What interesting RPees are you guys up to that maybe people haven't noticed yet? Hit me with some random shit.
(also, do you think Trent Reznor plays EVE? This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSomIodjPKg) is a capsuleer anthem if I ever heard one)

Synthia has started a project examining the structure of Sebiestor Brains, which was a result of unscripted RP involving other people, I didn't intentionally set out to study brains, it was just something that seemed to follow from interacting with others.

Katrina has been using I-RED's territorial influence in Syndicate to protect a personal campaign of derelict and wreck salvaging on planets in Syndicate. She sends salvage teams to the surface to try and extract valuable scrap or components from crash sites and failed colonies. Since the Intaki Syndicate still doesn't colonize their own planets, there's really a lot down there!

I heard that Rome II is pretty much broken gameplay wise... ANd I still have to finish downloading it .____.

People talk about doing something, then in OOC channel, other people snipe at it, causing the OP to abandon their idea, then the OP is ridiculed as a special snowflake drama llama. Then people complain about the lack of interesting RP.
It's a backstab conga line.

Annoyed Summit again with having bad health and refusing to heal - CHECK!
Was almost poisoned by Intaki spices - CHECK!
Had a couple of RP fist fights - CHECK!
Finally healed heart problems - CHECK!

Esna's planning something for October, although it won't be "colossal community-shattering with lots of pewpew" something, so much as "nice little event for some friends" something.
Aside from that, tying up some loose ends of some drama from a while back, and (along with a decent bit of the Amarr community) praying we don't get derped into the evil slaver archetype again.

I might try and simulate a 'live broadcast' of a Gallentean colonial election starting during/after downtime today. Working on some stats and a plan now and maybe I can run it on the summit during that time. Mostly an exercise in world building and giving everybody something to bitch about.

Morwen's been in the hospital for the last couple weeks awaiting some surgery, and will be there for another one or two for recovery now that it's done.
The SCL is next weekend, so there'll be stuff going on at the Masque like there was during the Alliance Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
And yeah, I guess there's stuff going on on the 16th. Though you'd think people would've told Morwen of all people about it, just in case she had been making plans. ¬¬

Real Talk: I have no idea what to do with Anslo RP wise. I've had him just sort of snap and go off and form an army for :reasons: and that's...about it. I have no idea what to do next that doesn't involve a bat phone and some hurt feelings.

Next big plans in Makoto's life: actually recruiting for PRIAN (banner and everything!), doing Khanid-y plottings (gift from the Kingdom? Recruiting Khanid employees? Doing outreach?), etc. Hopefully the next press release will start more :evil: responses. Makoto's been so-- kosher until lately. :oops:

Well, lately I've just been entertaining myself with a freshly converted capsuleer.
At first I thought I'd have a little fun but he ended up being a decent trainee so I've been guiding him towards better rewards.
Other than that, not too much at all here. Mostly just sitting around talkin' with folks and sharing stories, or just staring blankly into space while gathering components and equipment for my next adventure.

Been suffering from Eve burn-out and having other stuff to do. Still have "ideas" for "cool" RP, but they require me investing time into Eve and making a major change in direction.

Posting regularly in the DUST IGS, partly in hopes of inspiring the growth of that RP community. It needs the love. (It's working, though!)
Getting deeply involved in Caldari FW, both IC and in gameplay.
In a related project, getting increasingly good at shanking unobservant people in the back. Yes, that's RP of a kind.
Developing a working basic theory of clone soldier psychology and its significance.
Trying to restrain self from advocating destruction of all capsuleers in a fit of self-loathing.

In the past week:
1. Released PANDORA with continued development.
2. 8 Corps have joined PANDORA.
3. Released 71 (seventy one!!) reconnaissance missions in preparation for https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=259399&find=unread (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=259399&find=unread) which will see us wardec multiple mining corps during a month long siege RP-based at an attack on the Amarrian economy.
4. Currently creating weekly news videos for PANDORA based on what people on these forums are up to and any ingame RP events/action i can get my ears on in a bid to create more interest in CCP LIVE EVENTS and the community:)
I've been away from RP for a few years creating PANDORA to enhance RP since the magazine interview - it feels good to be back 8)
