Sci-Fi MMO - thoughts?

Havent played Halo at all. But Looks neat...
I do wonder howe interactive it will be between other players. Have some difficulty to run around ignoring and everyone is that hero, the main protagonist.
-
For the headline to call it a masterpiece that quickly is pretty bold :o
That said, the art direction appears far more inspired than that of Halo's

Interesting visuals. I wonder however what will keep you playing again and again, if there is something meaningful to be done.

Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 only. You sad M**********. :bash:

This looks so damn pretty, the features sound really cool... I mean, the concept art alone looks fantastic and inspiring.
And if they make it console exclusive...

Halo was over hyped. Fun, especially with a friend but it didn't really quite amount to the reputation of being the holy grail of FPS.
This MMO looks interesting tho.

I think I like the setting and plot of Halo better, from what I've seen, but this certainly looks like it has potential.
I've said elsewhere that it looks like a combination of Halo action bits, Mass Effect "influence the storyline" bits, and EVE's long-term survivability bits. We'll see if they deliver.

Not fond of their conceited view of themselves ("we're the guys that did Halo and it was the biggest thing evar, lolz!"), but it's promising.

All too true Koko. Having the game already on pre-order before there's barely anything on it available other than some artwork and a very breif gameplay demo, and we all know how deceiving those can be :ACM:

I didn't buy a console for DUST, any of the new Final Fantasies (of which I was really looking forward to), or any other game which I would have loved to play that were console exclusive.
The game industry can do what they want, but I will not buy a console. It's a waste of money in my opinion as opposed to a PC where I can rig it how I want and update components how I want without just buying a whole new PC.
-
Oh boy.
An MMOFFS.
-
I agree with Anslo: not buying a console at all. Didn't do it for DUST which appealed to me much more, won't do it for this. Besides, Halo was fun, but very very very over-rated.

Now, if they pull their collective heads out their asses and put this game on PC, I will jump on that like a fat catholic kid on a big red velvet cake right off of fasting.
