It was the day I killed a hundred thousand people.
The missiles painted colors through the sky.
The nearby sun played red upon the wreckage of their ships
as I watched a hundred thousand people die.
It was the day I killed a hundred thousand people.
I gathered all the salvage I could find.
I cut the wrecks to pieces, and I took what I could use,
and I left a hundred thousand dead behind.
It was the day I killed a hundred thousand people,
exactly in accordance with demands.
The scrap was sold, the bounties logged, the agent paid my fee,
and a hundred million kredits traded hands.
It was the day I killed a hundred thousand people.
I never even paused to wonder why.
The nearby sun played red upon the wine inside my glass,
and a hundred thousand corpses in the sky.
