Title: No Kala?

Welp, it finally happened, and my old, second hand, refurbished laptop finally gave up. Not completely dead (still turns on), but both the screen and graphics card are bust. Probably the battering Incarna and Crucible have given it :P

Either way, I will now be out of game indefinitely.

I simply can't afford to replace my laptop right now, having barely enough money for rent and food as it is. I will attempt to raise the money for a new computer as fast as possible, cos having no computer sucks, but it could take a while.

I'll update Kala's character page with an IC explanation for her sudden vanishing. Hopefully I'll be able to keep relatively up to date through the various forums (like this one  :D ) whenever I can get my hands on some internet time.

It's looking like I'll be able to afford a new one by about january, a long as I can persuade my parents to give me a loan, and the january sales lower the prices a bit. It's gonna be six weeks at least.

That's not so bad, I thought we'd be talking several months when I first saw the post...

Your room on the estate will be kept open and ready for you.  Reppy still needs to expose you to the horror that is... film night. :P

Until then, good luck and have fun.  RL.exe is buggy and slow paced, but the sandbox is nice. ;)

I'm gonna miss my christmas present from ccp /o\

Edited to add: A friend has loaned me his old laptop. It's even older than mine, so I'm not sure if it will work, but hopefully I will be able to get eve to run on it. Even if I can, I doubt I'll be able to do more than just sit in dock and talk to people. But, better than nothing :)

Fancy IRC client is a go. I now have eve, although it is a slow painful eve. But I can still talk to everyone. Immediate crisis over  :D :D \o/
