Title: My Advice to the Newcomers
Post by: StalinGrad6 on 24 Jan 2011, 11:22
The names StalinGrad6.

ive had my fair share of basd moments.

so... im here to impart some knowledge on the RP world.

read some of my IGS posts.

my advice....

NEVER
EVER
EVER
do what i did.

you probably will burn both IC and OOC.

RP players can hurt sometimes. when doing something drastic, be prepared to get wardecd.
Plan your approach along a basic linme, and change it as the days go. be professional.

so basically....

DONT do what I did.

take this to heart.... im sure you'll do JUST fine :)

feel free to ask the others. these guys have helped a LOT. i mean a LOT.

theyre pros, they know what theyre doing. if you are asked, you shalt be answered.

personally i felt horrible. but thats me.

anyway, good luk and God speed :)

Really, you're beating a dead tiger to see if it lives.
Move on and learn from your past mistakes, don't let them rule your life. Things happen, life goes one.

Better advice: Be the one who hits the wardec button first! That alone will give you ten times the credibility of just words on IGS.

Amen on all counts.  We're a forgiving bunch (OOCly), and we all love to root for the scrappy underdog.
