Title: The Battalions of Ber Kan, et al.

Don't know if Ber Kan has an account here to provide some answers, but perhaps some of our regulars can fill me in.  What's up with stuff like this (http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1425167&page=1#4)?  The whole announcing deployments/opsec element aside, which has been discussed elsewhere, what's the background on commanding tens of thousands of heavily armed troops?  Does he shuttle assloads of 'Marines' items all around New Eden?

Don't know the guy, so cannot answer your actual question.

I am half-tempted to ICly set a Mad Else on him on the opsec part, though.

I don't carry assloads of them around, but Saxon does travel with various militants and Marines. They show up from time to time like this:

I think he's referring to PI structures. When Seriphyn announced "success!" at the use of capsuleer evac shelters etc. he said IC "Ah yes, this sounds familiar", and here OOC I acknowledged the idea and didn't take credit for it.

However, he never was explicitly referring to PI structures.
