I don't think they would mention myself/Seriphyn by name to avoid favouritism, as well as not totally referring to specifics (Slave Heavenbound02 = two, not one individuals maybe)

It's just professionalism from CCP I think. If they utter a single name on their developer videos, then that throws them up on the "importance scale" tenfold, and folks will wonder why CCP doesn't equally mention some other player that's had a similar (if not greater) impact on EVE.

That's what I think anyway.

CCP have a policy of avoiding naming specific individual players themselves, I think. It may be equal parts not causing favoritism but to avoid 'discrediting' others.

Group works on something, but only one of their members is mentioned by name from CCP. Insert irrational amounts of rage here.

It's smart business wise, although I think it depersonalizes EVE a bit.
