Title: Legitimate Scams IRL
Post by: Mithfindel on 28 Sep 2011, 23:43
Have you read something that sounds like "hey, that's like straight from EVE"?

I'll start with some Porche: http://radian.org/notebook/porsche (http://radian.org/notebook/porsche).

Huh. Interesting story, I thought.

I have problems with the idea of hedge funds: they seem like an expression of the sort of decadence and villainy that dominates the world of finance. People play these games, either not appreciating or not caring that there are real-world repercussions. It's a psychopath's playground. Still, in the case of Adolf Merckle: one less shitehawk in the world.
