Title: EVE Character Artwork?

So I'm looking to poke around for some artwork to be done of my character, and maybe a friend's character too. Since I don't have any real life cash to spare for it, I was thinking of paying with ingame ISK. Because of that, I can't really search DeviantArt or somewhere like that for an artist. So, I'm left wondering...

Who would I check out? What sorts of prices could I expect for something?

I'm really just looking at the whole range of art here... from fully colored drawings to simple photoshop jobs using screenshots and pre-supplied backgrounds.

What do you have in mind ? Pose, frame, picture composition, media, etc ? If I find the time I could try to do something but its very uncertain how long it could take : I am coming back home in late september and will have access again to all my tools after (i am very limited atm).

There is something I can more or less be sure of the result and this is pencil portraits. If you have photos of actors or actresses in mind... I did it for Lyn in the past before Incarna (here : http://paradigm432.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d34cjrv (http://paradigm432.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d34cjrv)).

For something more work intensive, we will see. I prefer not to promise things I could maybe not do eventually because I will have my own work to do after summer vacations.

That looks good! I was hoping for something with color, but I suppose that is fairly optional. What sorts of prices would we be talking about?

Dunno, I have never tried with colors. Maybe I can do that, but I would have to do it without before anyway.

Dunno for the prices too. I am not here to settle a business, especially as I perfectly know that I could not handle to do that kind of thing regularily, it would just kill me eventually, especially when I have other similar work to do.

I did a short illustrated story a few years back.

The character art was done by the character "Atienne". Cost a couple of billion for all the images but it was well worth it.

Still on the lookout for any other potential artists. Probably going to commission an art piece with Simca + Katrina in it.
