Why, exactly? Because nobody posted on it? It was more to prompt a relevant discussion on the trivial nature of certain qualifications, such as Hairdressing or Critical Thinking.
I wasn't aware there was a rule against bringing up old news articles, either. Or even if it's about having no clear purpose, this thread (http://backstage.eve-inspiracy.com/index.php?topic=3066.0) merely posts a link and doesn't pose any sort of questions or points for discussion.
Completely arbitrary, but there you go.

I'm sure that if you consider it carefully, you can see the problem with a thread predicated on the idea that some people's qualifications are 'trivial'. I apologize if that wasn't clear from the lock message.
