So, my turn to ask for fashion appreciation since it's hairdo appreciation time ! I have been switching back between those two haircuts since Silver has started playing (oh, well, maybe a little less but you get the picture). I mostly sticked to the long hair one since the short hair used to scale very badly with lower resolutions.
However I may have found a way to fix it.
In short, long hair fits the dainty/nobility side better, and short hair the tomboy wormbook. I am unable to choose. Not that I will eventually choose the most popular choice, but it might help me to get some detachment and how other people see it.

Yeah, funny how unsignificant things can eventually get to you so much...

Waaay prettier with long hair, frames her face better.

Gotta go with the long hair look on this one, although it's a closer decision than Ava's was.
If you tried another short hairstyle, it might win, but that one in particular is eh~. I'm probably going to switch Ereka out of that very one tonight if I can find one that's better.

This is actually a hard one.
On the one hand, I agree with Rhiannon that the long hair does frame the face a lot better.
On the other hand, tomboy Lyn is impossibly cute.
I'll second Sak's opinion that a different short hairstyle might be better still. Hair in front of the eyes on a character portrait is less than ideal IMO. Even so, in this case I have to come down on the side of the short-haired look.

I'd also consider a brighter background to go with Lyn's dark hair.
-
I'm the oddball out, it seems. I think the shorter hair suits her better. It gives her a more aggressive, independent appearance which echoes her assertiveness in conversation and on IGS.
-
I have to agree with Art, Lyn is supposed to have short hair. It fits her character much better.

I have tried other short ones, I don't like them. I used to go for the other one, very close, before this short one got finally released, but it's not as good.
I may consider a background change, that's a good idea. Not the lighting since it's set to the millimeter, but the image yeah, why not.

Fair enough. I still vote for the short-haired look, in case my previous post came off as ambiguous. :)
And I agree the lighting is very good as it is, no need for a change there.
