Your computer lags, and regardless of if you're playing EVE or not you blame Jita or the NC - although I guess we don't get to blame the NC much anymore.

The lack of locators in WoW annoyed me endlessly when I still played that travesty.

Thirded, because someone I was with at the time was amazed by the plan. I had to explain that no, I'm quite familiar with the tactic and not amazed at all.

One of my friends summed it up nicely:
Quote
If you want people to try to win matches, make winning matches always beneficial to winning medals. Having a tournament structure that in some cases punishes winning matches and trying to patch that with a rule saying you must attempt to win, even if winning isn't in your long-term best interests is just lazy game design.

You work in an escalation based environment and instead of referring to the "tiered" support path, you start saying "tech"

Ie.
Tech 1
tech 2
tech 3.

Get suddenly confused when you have to escalate further as there is not tech4.

refer to skill proficiency in resume's as "troubleshooting 5"

Extra credit if you get hired by an employer who knows what that means.

Local proxy port 26000 through ssh (putty) is one of the first things you setup on your work computer.

Pre skill queue.

You wake up in the middle of the night for no particular reason, start up the computer just for the hell of it and have 15 seconds left on a long skill after you log in.
