Yes yes, I know, it will never happen. CCP will never let it work. Its a pointless contest with no way to win, yes yes yes. I know all that.

But I'm giving them 3 years to figure things out. That's a long time. If we can really draw and inspire a lot of interest? Well, who knows what's possible. There's a universe of possibility out there.

Be neat if they added a "slow (but not really) boat" way to get to unconnected systems, that's true.

Imagine how much that would shake up wars, though. Could maybe even make the jump gate grid increasingly irrelevant....

I do intend to be really obnoxious and continuously provide updates and news regarding this as time goes on in an attempt to make it as big a deal as I can. I strongly encourage everyone who likes this idea to do the same. Don't let people forget its happening.

It would. There's all sorts of things you could put to find in interstellar space. Everything from unexplored solar systems, to proto-systems, to giant gas clouds, to black holes and other weird stuff.
