Considering the size of the industrial ships, its surprising how little you can fit into them.

Also, running a frigate with just one pilot?

Well, if you look at Minmatar friggies, there's not much room for crew at all in them. They may be the size of a 747 but they've got a fraction of the carrying capacity.

Irony is Minmatar ships, frigates included, are the most heavily manned ships in EVE. Gallente ones are the most crew efficient of the ships.
