If they wanted PLEX to go down in price ingame, they could adjust PLEX prices in the store to be equal to the equivalent subscription period it would afford. (A single PLEX is $19.95. A month's subscription is $14.95.) They could also stop tying PLEX into every service and promotion ever.

Right now they need to decrease demand and increase supply at the same time - doing just one or the other won't have enough of an effect at this point.

Pretty much. There are so many reasons the demand shot up, and its mostly ccp's money grubbing fault
