You invited Andreus Ixiris to make a speech about tolerance.
Dear Mr Ixiris,
Saturday YC113.07.09 will be the intergalactic Day of Tolerance. The purpose of the day is to educate and enlighten, to oppose prejudice and advance the pursuit of open-mindedness. The event will last though the whole day.
The venue will be the Center of Advanced Studies (CAS) station near the moon 8 of Lisbaetanne V, in the Peccanouette constellation. The discussions and the lectures will be available for public across the cluster with the aid of a dedicated FTL channel "Day of Tolerance."
Citizens of the Federation have come to know you as a thoughtful and inspiring defender of the truth. On behalf of the organizers, we would like to invite you to give a presentation during the Day of Tolerance. The potential presentation could be on any relevant issue, for example, on how a citizen of the Federation sees the Amarrian religion and traditions, or how does the Federation differ from the State? Young people these days are not so well-versed in these matters, unfortunately.
Practically speaking, any time of the day, between 14:00PM - 04:00AM would be a good time for a speech.
In case you decide to give a brief keynote/lecture/speech, the organizers would appreciate to know what time you might be available so that the data could be added to the program. The speeches will later be made available in the Intergalactic Summit and most of the discussions will be appear on the Crux Agora GalNet forums, if the authors have nothing against it.
If you wish to join the event in person in Lisbaetanne, a low-security enabled ship is recommended.
If your schedule doesn't allow you to engage in public speaking, you are of course welcome to just participate in the discussions or join us as a regular guest.
In case you have any questions, we will be happy to answer.
We hope to see you next Saturday.
Yours faithfully,
CEO-Chairman T. Theorabies,
Gallente Independent Progressive Alternative

*Looks at IC Andreus*

Well, he invited Raze to give a speech...
Raze respectfully declined.

This is not the case, but I did use the thread to find speakers who would make most IC sense. I'd love to continue OOC discussion after the event.

Oh, well in that case...

Why do I get the feeling Tamur meant more in that statement than what most folks seem to assume?

Maybe a background check next time? Make sure you're not inviting the loudest bigot in the universe? >>
-
He did not invite Myyona as speaker though. I guess our profile as humanitarian aid organization is not as clear as it could be. My fault, of course. Besides, I am maybe not that good at these major roleplaying events after all.
-
According to the schedule, Alain Octirant is speaking as well. He's a beacon of tolerance, right?
-
Totes, I wish I'd been there for the last GIPA gathering. Sounded like a lot of fun, but I had to take care of dumb college stuff. T.T

The logs are now available on Crux Agora (http://bit.ly/n0klA3).

I just want to thank Tamur for giving me an outlet to rp in. I had fun participating, even if only for a brief period of time.
