Profile Manager Note: Anslo's record is a unique patchwork. He started as one of our most promising and efficient pilots, especially during the start of the Emperyean Wars. His skills were such that he was enlisted in [REDACTED]. Information post-enlistment has been classified.

All events of [REDACTED] have also been deemed classified.

One year after enlistment, his criminal activities began. It was here that many began to suspect a form of psychosis was present in his mind. From piracy he moved to fight against the Nation's resurgence. After a while, he switched sides to join Nation. And even after that, he switched again. The record of events transpired during this time frame of activity can be found at File #FRS-08a-71.

After this point in time, Anslo disappeared. No official records are available to account for his activities at this time. Field Intelligence reports that he was spotted among numerous baseline humans during this time frame across the four Empires. Purpose for this is unknown, but suspicious given his past.

I will be monitoring Mr. Tetua as his assigned Profiler by order of [REDACTED]. My second report will follow once approval has been provided to continue research on Mr. Tetua.

Here's one: What's up with retracting the info about his blood type, and how are we supposed to get into the topic of this in any way IC? People usually don't go up to people and ask about this.

Also, his past. His youth, up-bringing, homeworld, career, anything on friends, family etc? Is this all supposed to be tightly guarded secrets people will have to figure out on their own?

Well it's less the blood type and more the medical history in general, but I see your point. I mean ideally, I'd like for people to want to figure out why Anslo has these bandages on despite being an egger, and why he's so..well...psychotic and violent. He's very atypical for the standard egger. Where others sound very eloquent, intelligent, and lofty, he despises it and thinks it's very egotistical.

In terms of history, his youth and upbringing are meant to be secret for his own story line reasons. If someone gets close enough to him, they'll figure it out. The reason I don't want to publish it here is because I don't want this to seem like I'm trying too hard to make Anslo unique. Aside from the anger issues, ICly, Anslo is pretty straight forward. No "spechul snowflaek" flaunting, no endless "mysterious, 2deep4me" phrases. Just straight forward. But in terms of background, I tried to make him interesting. It's up to people to want to learn about him. 

But honestly, I don't think anyone gives enough of a crap about Anslo to try to figure it out hah.

I have background information for Bataav that involves a bit of a twist for the character and goes some way to explain why he is who/where/what he is. I'm going for a "leaked" or "discovered" military report as the method of releasing "facts" which should prompt RP to flesh out the details.

I know Sakaane runs her IC blog Solitary Pilot that works as a journal for keeping her character lore up to date and out there.

I guess the method of putting the content out there would depend on the nature of the information itself.

The nature of the information would piss off a lot of high level folks and put him and everyone else in potential danger. A few people could know, but if the wrong person finds out and tells, Anslo's regular life is over.

I had a similar issue with stecker, almost no one dug into what was (imo) a fairly interesting back story that could have led to some fun RP shenanigans. There's not much you can do besides mention that it's there to be found if someone wants to look and see what happens.

I confirm that clearance to continue research into Mr. Anslo Tetua has been provided by [REDACTED] and that billable hours have been assigned to me, Avoul Deuterre, to continue work on this case.

Following recent events within the Caldari State, Tetua has been spotted with a number of baseline humans in various locations. An investigation has been launched to determine his purpose in visiting worlds recently struck by Caldari civil unrest. A report was noted that Mr. Tetua has also been spotted on Malkalen V.

According to survey data gathered by [REDACTED], Tetua and baseline associates were sifting through the rubble of a site previously playing host to an anti-Provist rally. Transmissions were noted entering and leaving the surface which, upon further analysis, appeared to be private neural fluid router communications. However, all transmission was encrypted in a method not yet fully understood by cypher systems. Updates are in progress to rectify this.

Gunfire was noted on the surface of the site before Tetua and associates vacated the planet. A cloaked vessel was inferred to be used as scout vessels could not detect any transponder registered to Tetua. The purpose for highlighting these events is the effect it has had on his mentality. He has been noted to be far more lucid than in previous time periods. His physical appearance remains unchanged, but his attitude appears to be modified, more focused. The reason for this change has yet to be determined.

The only deviation from this was during the Vellaine III incident. A communication between Tetua and another capsuleer exhibited extreme anger and frustration during the event. Tetua and this unknown capsuleer flew together in an effort to curtail activities which might harm baseline humans. It was after this event that said transmission was sent. This is of interest due to the way the transmission has been corrupted mid-send. Analysis indicates this may be due to [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. Future communications will be monitored for further corruption events.

Physiologically, Tetua remains unchanged. His bandaged body remains ever present, black, and grey. Attempts have been made to ascertain the condition of his body beneath the bandages to confirm his current level of [REDACTED]. All such attempts have failed. Monitoring and analysis will continue.

Finally, Tetua has been spotted with an Intaki woman and Khanid woman as of late at his baseliner exclusive club, as well as outside said club in seemingly casual outings. These individuals will be identified and monitored for future surveillance of Tetua and his associates.

Per the above findings of my second report, I deem there to be little evidence that Anslo Tetua's threat level has risen. Monitoring will continue to ensure this remains the same. Emergency automated reporting systems will convey threat concerns to [REDACTED] should anything drastic change.

Special Report, Partially Unblinded, FIO ADMIN/RESEARCH ONLY

This report is meant to highlight three major occurrences observed during reconnaissance of Mr. Tetua. For the purpose of efficient information dissemination, I have been authorized by [REDACTED] to declassify specific parts of this report. Names are redacted in this report and are available in the V2.0 Class L-6 Report.


[REDACTED] has recorded and confirmed a statistically significant spike in Mr. Tetua's piezoelectricity levels during an event at the [REDACTED] Club, owned by one Ms. [REDACTED]. Cause of spike is scientifically unknown, but inference suggest direct manipulation by Mr. Tetua himself to cause spike for a potential combat situation.

Mr. Tetua appeared with one [REDACTED] of Caldari origins (Person of Interest 1 {PoI 1}), along with one [REDACTED] (PoI 2), a known icon and figure throughout known space. PoI 1 lead Mr. Tetua to engage in a brief conversation with Ms. [REDACTED] before the three confined themselves to a private office. PoI 2 was noted as observing and analyzing her surroundings before seemingly making her way to the restroom.

After approximately 30-minutes, a larger and potentially augmented individual made way to the private office with a DUST clone solider. Said DUST was positioned outside while the potentially augmented individual, now confirmed as [REDACTED] of Khanid decent (PoI 3), entered the room.

At this time, fire alarms began sounding as all parties within the room exited to an unknown section of the area. The party returned with PoI 2 in tow and one extra person, identified as [REDACTED] (PoI 4) of a known criminal organization. PoI 4 appeared injured. Three other individuals, assumed slaves by their dress, were also following. All individuals but PoI 3 and Ms. [REDACTED] exited the area.

The entire fiasco saw a tremendous spike in piezoelectrical activitiy within Mr. Tetua's [REDACTED]. Typical piezoelectric activity within Mr. Tetua stay around 0-3 kHz with no artificially educed micro-vibrations. During this event, Mr. Tetua's piezoelectric measurements jumped to 29.52 kHz with micro-vibrations approaching 150 μm. In at least two instances, micro-vibrations reached 200 μm, signifying potential [REDACTED]. Due to political issues, suppression forces would never have been able to stop Mr. Tetua in time before all present parties were euthanized. It is fortunate he did not engage in any euthanasia as the group left.

Outside of this even, a fifth Ni-Kuuni PoI has been identified, as well as a sixth Intaki PoI. It is unknown as to why Mr. Tetua is associating himself with the aforementioned PoIs, as team cohesion of his assembled group points to potentially low success rates during OPs.
All PoIs will be monitored and observed for further information.

Finally, and of important note, Mr. Tetua has allegedly made way to Amamake II into cordoned space over the district colloquially known as 'Pike's Landing.' Confirmation received of similar baseline crew during Malkalen incident with Mr. Tetua. Purpose unknown, however, it is inferred by [REDACTED] that Mr. Tetua has taken a high interest in Phase I DUST soldiers. Specifically, he appears interested in the [REDACTED] events. Activity will continue to be monitored, with interdiction operatives prepared should the need arise.

Purpose: Advice Request Regarding Further Action with Anslo Tetua

As per Protocol, the selected conference room was inspected by Project [REDACTED] Support Staff posed as janitorial personnel. Jammer was placed and set to activate once any [REDACTED]  high-level personnel stepped within fifteen (15) feet of the device. All parties were informed of the device’s presence. The device’s activity was checked and confirmed functional before the Agenda for the meeting was addressed.

Cmdr. [REDACTED]: This had better be good.

Avoul Deuterre: I apologize for the inconvenience, but I believe a discussion must be had immediately regarding Mr. Tetua.

Cmdr. [REDACTED] [REDACTED]:  Can I ask why the hell you couldn’t just file a report instead of dragging us out to a meeting?

Avoul Deuterre: Yes sir, there’s a good reason for it. I will defer to Dr. Sylveste for further clarification.

Dr. [REDACTED]: Thank you Avoul. As you know Commander, we’ve been trying to keep a close eye on Msr. Tetua for a while. Namely, we’ve been watching since his escape with the other Subjects from the [REDACTED] Project. All attempts to interdict were, as you know, unsuccessful. He entrenched himself quite deeply into the capsuleer community and we simply could not touch him without raising an interstellar scandal. Lucky for us, he refrained from using any [REDACTED], [REDACTED], or [REDACTED]  after his escape.

Cmdr. [REDACTED]: Sometime this century would be nice Doctor.

Dr. [REDACTED]: He is beginning to not refrain from using his modifications.

Dr. [REDACTED] 2: His initial field tests from YC 110 to YC112 indicated average piezoelectrical activity at 16.11 kHz~ resting, with actions seeing anywhere from 30.00 kHz to 150.00 kHz, including [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] use. Microvibrations were average 60 μm~ resting, with action seeing anywhere from 150μm to 272μm. As per Msr. Deuterre’s previous reports, Msr. Tetua’s activity until recently has been 0-3 kHz with no artificially educed micro-vibrations. The past three days have seen multiple instances where both piezoelectrical levels and microvibrations increase. If we could get a blood sample, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw levels of ATP use and metabolic levels similar to his initial implantation.

Avoul Deuterre: He is going active, Commander. I don’t know why, but he is.

Dr. [REDACTED]: I looked at them four times. I wanted to be wrong. But I am not, Msr.

Avoul Deuterre: No bullshit sir. I had attempted to compile a list of possible ways to remedy this situation before we met. I checked with the fail safe mechanism, but it is not active.

Dr. [REDACTED]: Based on what we’ve received so far and what we can do without a full clinical test, this seems to be based on emotional response. A compatriot of his was killed, one [REDACTED]. Murderer unknown. Two other instances were apparently situations where he felt threatened and or emotionally distressed. By distressed I mean angry. The other instance was noted during the Black Eagle rally.

Cmdr. [REDACTED] [REDACTED]:  He was THERE? And we didn’t notice??

Avoul Deuterre: No sir. Personnel couldn’t even see him, let alone detect him. They didn’t even notice hewas there til a scan had been done to detect odd electrical field activity in case a smuggled weapon had been brought in. When I checked the report and noticed field signals similar to Mr. Tetua’s, it raised a red flag.

Avoul Deuterre: No sir.

Cmdr. [REDACTED] [REDACTED]:  Good. Keep them in the dark. This stays within the Project. FIO proper doesn’t need involved yet. That would be the last thing the Federation needs, news about one of our freaks running around.

Cmdr. [REDACTED] [REDACTED]:  Keep it that way. Inform Project personnel condition 2. I want him watched closer now. I want people next to him. More importantly I want security personnel on standby. If we have to risk a few squads to stop him, I don’t care. Avoul, keep your reports up. Doctors, I’ll be contacting you later. I have an idea for you to get your blood sample. ((OOC Disclaimer: The following is a combination report/autopsy. If you are squeamish, do not read the autopsy. I will attempt to make this as restricted as possible without stifling the story))

REPORT 4 AND AUTOPSY RESULTS:

Autopsy results were transmitted to me at 0321 UTC 11-Mar-115 along with fragmented data retrieved from shattered black box implants. The focus of my report will be on the content of the data retrieved. The autopsy can be found in Appendix 1 of this report.

Following the group meeting 24-Feb-115, Cmdr. [REDACTED] issued detailed orders regarding the reconnaissance and continued observation of Mr. Tetua and his associates. Ten individual capsuleers are currently under observation where possible. Threat levels of each individual have been analyzed and appropriate Observers have been assigned. However, it is the opinion of this CPM that the selection criteria for Observers and the analysis criteria for capsuleer threat level should undergo an immediate review and QA check due to the recent casualty of Observer 4 on [REDACTED] at the hands of POI 4, [REDACTED].

Observer 4 was assigned to POI 4 for recon purposes and potential assasination and/or threat of in order to control Mr. Tetua. No belligerence was expected from the POI. Therefore, Observer 4 was equipped with stealth and reconnaissance gear and given minimal weaponry to ensure seamless movement from position to position and, if needed, stealth assault on domicile and POI 4. It was noted that, while POI 4 is known to hunt in the wild area surrounding her domicile, she was only considered an extreme threat when encountered in space. Her planetary combat record was nearly non-existent. It was agreed that standard [REDACTED] would be sufficient to keep Observer 4 hidden.

According to fragmented data left in the shattered black box (BB) implant, it took no more than a day for POI 4 to notice Observer 4's presence and eliminate him with an outdated projectile weapon. Typically, [REDACTED] would be able to deflect any basic projectile weapon. However, POI 4's ability with said weapon appear to have been underestimated. Her threat level was modified based on these recent findings.

Retrieved fragmented data suggests the body of Observer 4 was placed outside the domicile of POI 4 and hidden in brush and sticks. Further data noted the arrival of four individuals at an unspecified time later. Retrieved data is too damaged to provide further detail of this arrival. However, what data that could be retrieved noted, before the destruction of the BB implants, gradually increased [REDACTED] approaching the body. The autopsy (see Appendix 1) noted separate rounds were fired into the  parietal lobe, occipetal lobe, cerebellum, and the C2/C3 vertebrae implants in such a precise manor that the BB implants, along with [REDACTED}, were shattered.  Knowledge of implant location indicates shooter was most likely Mr. Tetua.

Observer 4's body was returned in an unmarked crate received by [REDACTED] docking authorities. Federal authorities were called to analyze the unmarked crate due to standard security scans providing inconclusive results. Federal authorities were also unable to scan the crate conclusively. Instructions on the crate requested delivery to [REDACTED][REDACTED] to the FIO Research and Development Division. Upon FIO authority arrival, the crate was transported to a secured facility in case the crate harbored a weaponized trap.

The crate help a simple 10-digit keypad. Analysis confirmed a 4-digit code was required to open the crate. Brute force analysis found the code was [REDACTED]. It should be noted that this code was also the Mr. Tetua's Holding Cell number. The crate held the remains of Observer 4. Said remains also held a message on Observer 4's back requesting actions against him cease and desist. Further action is pending higher level decision.

FINAL DIAGNOSIS: Single projectile shot lodged between frontal and temporal lobes caused a massive brain hemorrhage. Subject's wounds were not tended to. Death followed shortly after

DESCRIPTION:
The body is that of a 31 -year-old well developed and modified Gallentean male.  Livor mortis is distributed over the posterior neck, back, and buttocks. Rigor mortis is present in the joints of the upper and lower extremities and in what is left of the temporomandibular joint.  The body was embalmed before delivered to the AAR.  The body is identified as that of [REDACTED] by identification records provided by FIO R&D, Sub-Division 7. The hair is black with minimal male distribution. No hair is present on body save for subject's head. No bruising is noted on what parts of the subject's skin are observable and not stretched open. What is left of scarring around weapon discharge zone not caused by said weapon is indicative of implantation standard in Observer-class personnel.  There is no cyanosis or jaundice.  The eyes are brown and the pupils are 2 cm in diameter, equal and anicteric. The ears and nose are unremarkable and have not been mutilated.  The remainder of the oral cavity shows native teeth with no surgical remains. Lower jaw is missing and has yet to be found within subject's crate. Minimal masses in the neck have been determined as metal deposits placed post mortum.  Further epidermal analysis of chest is impossible due to mutilation.  The spine and thoracic cage are generally unremarkable, but fractured from brute force opening of thoracic with outdated instruments. In general I like it quite a bit, especially how you draw upon your medical background to add detail - it reminds me of T.J. Bass's writing. The big thing that stood out to me, though, was all the [REDACTED]s. I know you probably just want to add a little mystery so that people have a reason to talk to Anslo about them, but the sheer number of them just break up the writing for me. If I only knew you through reading this bio, I'd probably not even finish the bio because of them.

One thing that I've seen used effectively before as an alternative is to write about the incidents as if they were being discussed casually by people involved. That way you can leave out details while still having the writing flow:

It'd be interesting if maybe Ansol has a connection with Tierijev or this subculture.

I made up his last name. No inspiration just...thought of it. I'm good at making up names.

But yeah the [REDACTED] parts are there mostly because I don't want to soak Anslo ins spechul snowflaek lookit meeeee and turn everyone off. Additionally, I wasn't sure how to pass his condition and what he is and why he is scientifically at the time of writing those logs.

However, I now have a good background based in science and plotonium to ensure it makes sense. It will be revealed to those who know Anslo well enough and are peez with him, whether in story/event mode or in confidence. I just don't know how a mass reveal would work cause then suddenly :shunned:.

Remember, the Caldari were part of the Federation at one point. I imagine there was a lot of... erm... intercourse between the two.

Ly and my backstory implied that the Tua'pani subculture was pretty open to foreigners. His ancestral corporation was a joint Caldari-Gallente one. It helped explain why they have interlinked backgrounds despite the fact that he's Caldari and Shin's Gallente.

Not to call you out on YDIW, but I think it may be more accurate to say that only the relevant megacorp of said executive would be the only one to have a KOS order out, and even that is pushing it. More likely, they have an arrest warrant out on Anslo and because he's a capsuleer - guards tend to shoot first before trying to detain.

I can't imagine that the entire State would care that much about a small incident like that. What I'm trying to say is... if Anslo punches a CBD executive's kid... Ishukone wouldn't care. There's no reason why they would care. As far as I understand, things like that are subject to very clear jurisdictional boundaries. Ishukone Watch isn't going to try and serve an arrest warrant issued by Spacelane Patrol.

If however, Anslo was responsible for assaulting the child of a CEP, House of Records, or Business Tribunal member... or some other central authority corp... you might have minor involvement from all Eight. Again though, this would be on a smaller scale. Navy, Marines, Protectorate, and Peacekeepers would be the only authorities actively trying to hunt him down.

Even so, I think you could try to either increase the severity of what he did to keep it realistic. If you want him KOS, something more than a punch might be more realistic. Otherwise, I think a simple arrest warrant would be all you'd find.

OOCly, I did a lot of anti-Caldari and anti-Amarr missions and messed my standings up because I was a dumb nooby who didn't think there'd ever be a need to venture outside of my glorious Gallente Federation.

I can’t remember the last time I was on a planet and didn’t need breathing equipment before today. Neither can I remember the last time I felt a breeze caress my cheeks or smell the aroma of natural plant life surround me. Not before I found this place. The sounds and sights before me stretched out in an almost dream like maze of nostalgic wanderlust, welcoming my rare bout of sentimentality with open arms. I hadn’t felt the way I did finding this place in a very long time. It’s like a homecoming. Had it already been five years since we were all together?

But what are five years to a supposed immortal? Who cares about half a decade? I couldn’t help but smile to myself at these questions, these remnants of a foolish youth long gone and replaced with experience and wisdom not freely gained. Five years were five years and the illusion of their frivolousness has long since been shattered in my eyes. I had sacrificed a lot to get to where I am now. We gave up so much for so little early on, learning life’s toughest lessons in the hardest ways until we understood how things worked. By then it was a bit late, but better late than never. It just hurt to have been separated right when we were all becoming such close friends.

I wonder if that’s why I’m here now. I wonder if that’s the same reason he staked his claim here. Does he remember the good times hidden between all the hurt? Does he remember that deployment on Intaki and goofing around post-op? I know I can’t forget him splashing Lavula with a bunch of salt water out of nowhere. I thought she’d get upset as she always did, blowing antics out of proportion. I can’t blame her for getting angry if she had though, given the circumstances. But for once, she smiled. She genuinely smiled and laughed for the first time since we’d all been together. With that, our first little outing was born, waiting on that beach for extract. The worries we had, the pain we felt, the needles we dealt with, and the endless testing we were forced into just disappeared for a fleeting moment. I guess she realized like a lot of us had that all we really could count on was each other. The need for walls and facades had no place in our circle.

I’m glad we got to have more times like that. Project or not, it was a wonderful thing to enjoy. Each time we came together, we grew fonder of each other. It wasn’t so much a romantic sense between us, but more familial. We all came together in hopes to serve our home more and to keep our allies safe. We cherished freedom of choice above all and used that gift to submit ourselves to be better protectors of that freedom. At first, that was all we had in common. We’d walk through jungles just like this one, surrounded by the sights and sounds of God’s handy work through evolution. The sight, smells, sounds, tastes, all of it was right there for us to experience. Despite all of it, the first few ops together we did nothing but get in and out. It wasn’t until a few ops and training missions in and a few rather painful tests later that people started to talk.

We confided in each other in small groups at first. After a while, we all clung to each other. We were the only family around and the only one we’d see for what very may well have been the rest of our lives. No matter what they did to us or made us do, we still found comfort in each other. We all suffered the same crap, all had the same bait and switch pulled on us, and in that suffering we found sanity and a reason to keep going. It’s just horrible it ended the way it did. We had to scatter across the cluster just to stay alive. I haven’t seen any of them in so long. I really miss them. I had missed them for a while, but it was only recently that I worked up the nerve to even try to touch base with them. It was dangerous sure, but wasn’t that what we were built for? Sure it’s a textbook case of an unneeded risk, but I write my own textbook now, not the Federation, not the FIO. It’s a risk worth taking. It’s-

It’s just like the beach on Intaki. It’s almost the same as our first vacation spot. Endless sapphire waves crashing against each other in competition to reach the shore first, towers of rock and plants reaching to the sky, teeming with life large and small, tall and wispy waterfalls to and fro. I bet the deepest parts of this jungle are even more beautiful. I should take off my ocular patches and see this. They’re different now, not like what I was born with, but they’re still my eyes.

Aah…much better... So clear... So crisp... This place is beautiful. You really outdid yourself finding this place, Anslo. Now, if I could just find the right time to talk to you. I hope you don’t mind me dropping in. But hey, maybe you feel the same way. Maybe you want to see everyone else again too. Yeah, I’m sure you do. Why else come here? Why else own a beach like this? It’s just one big living, breathing memory for us. When we all finally gather here, it’ll be one big family reunion done against all odds? So many things I want to ask you.

Do you still wear those bandages, or did you find a treatment?
Has Rev talked to you at all? I remember you two were like twins.
Do you know where Marie went? She was always the most fragile of our little group.
Most importantly, what have you been up to for so long?

However, what I have read thus far and the little interaction I have had with Anslo, I do find him an interesting individual.  I would try to do more with him, but I'm still getting out of my 'shell' as it were in terms of interacting with other people.  Honestly, I'd love to interact with all of you people cause you're all awesome  :D
