Born to a family of bricklayers on Sarum Prime, Narai received a standard public education, being awarded a scholarship to attend the Royal Amarr Institute, where she studied mathematics and astrophysics. In her 3rd year, she was arrested and charged with unlawful interpretation of Scripture and sentenced to standard penal slavery, which she served under the governance of the MIO.
A senior Inquisitor took a liking to Narai, and arranged not only for her release, but for her to be offered a position, which Narai happily accepted, serving as an apprentice under Inquisitor Azra Shyn Maratii, where Narai proved to be likable, resourceful, and inventive. The MIO determined that Narai is capsule compatible, and began the conversion process, giving her the necessary implants to access the neocom, with complete conversion pending.
Narai became disenchanted with her work, and had a disgraceful drunken display in public, where she once again preached unlawful interpretations of Scripture, defamed the MIO and the Empire, and insulted several people, among them, well-known Holders. She was fired from her position, charged with the crimes, and is currently undergoing a second period of re-education.
Her capsuleer conversion has been suspended indefinately.
