Destination SkillQueue

WTF is it?

I suddenly received 386 "likes" from a character named Destination Skillqueue, which is strange mostly because they all happened at once and I wasn't even sure I'd made 386 posts...

Is this something I should be worried about for any reason?

The same char did the same thing last year. When I asked why, the reply was something like "Because all posts deserve to be liked."
I asked to stop liking my posts, as it makes the notifications page all but useless, but alas...at it again.

It's nothing new. There are a few people who go around liking posts at random. Doesn't bother me but it was a bit of a surprise to get to work and find like 50 notifications.

I'm not a fan of the system in the first place, since the number ceases being a measure of someone's posting quality and becomes effectively meaningless as soon as people make threads like that "Like and Get Likes" thread.

The like button is merely a measurement of how many posts, that contained content, you have made.

It does not mean that any of those posts were good ones.

Not that this stops some people from using the thousands of likes they've picked up from posting in the "like and get likes" thread, to claim some form of superiority over other people who only ever post in IGS, and thus have maybe a dozen likes.

Had wondered why my Likes suddenly shot up, think they must have liked every post i've ever made on the Forums, no matter which subforum it was in.
