Another Stargazer, back from the Void.
« on: 22 Aug 2013, 23:20 »

Coming back to EVE after a lengthy absence, hoping to explore new and more creative means of recreation in New Eden. I'd say that I aspire to find a happy medium between roleplay and PvP, but I'm very rusty at both at the moment. To that end, I'll dig into the resources available here, along with the wiki and chronicles, to better develop a sense of the setting and its people. Likewise, I'll be sacrificing ships in the attempt to learn to be a better submarine pilot.

With luck, I will strike a balance between capsuleering and character development, and we may cross paths somewhere.

...I think I remember you! Hello!

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

Thanks for the kind words.

Been reading a lot, and so far I have very little confidence in my ability to portray this character properly as there is so much potential to get things wrong, lore-wise. Just trying to get a handle on basics like ethnic relations and history is no small task.

Still, it is interesting reading and I will continue to glut myself on the material collected here.

Don't worry much about mistakes. If you make them, people will point them out, but if your honest and learn from them, you shouldn't have many problems.
