We are the Ghost Syndicate. We are the only active Angel Cartel-affiliated alliance in the game currently and would like to open our doors to Cartel loyalists everywhere.
I need more RP'ers :lol:
So if you're interested in trying something new with your character or if you have strayed from the Cartel and want to come home, chat us up.
We are looking for an industrial corp!!!!!!!!!!! And a few people experienced in pvp to train some noobs. I'll be opening an training academy in the alliance once we have the people to staff it.

They did. It didn't go the way RESPR wanted, so a tantrum was thrown and a campaign declared. Predictably, nothing came of it.

There was still the whole 'I'm going to run Stillwater into the ground' thing which came up more than a few times. I'd say that implied some kind of campaign in planning.

But are you a RESPR diplo? No. Are you an EJECT diplo? No. Are you a WHIST diplo? No. Are you a -RIA- diplo? No. Then you don't know.
Temper tantrums were not thrown. The first time, I reacted in a way that I felt my character would react in that situation.
I did, however, approach Stillwater again, once the alliance was created and offered membership. On two different occasions, I have extended the olive branch their way, not the other way around.
Both times, I was rejected. The fact of the matter is, there is a rift in the Angel community that goes well beyond me that people aren't willing to let go of. I even offered to get everyone on TS and serve as a moderator while both sides talk and sort shit out. I may act like a dick sometimes, but when I say that my goal is to reunite the Angel community, I'm serious about it.

You're neglecting the fact that these comments were made in an OOC environment. Similar offensive and/or dismissive comments were made in various other channels as well.
Both times, I was rejected.
Then perhaps you should've taken the hint the first time.
The fact of the matter is, there is a rift in the Angel community that goes well beyond me that people aren't willing to let go of.
It might've been more prudent to check first and not open up old cans of worms. Subtlety is something you need to work on.
Regardless, good luck with the alliance. You seem confident things are going well, so I'll leave you to it.

As an ex PRETA director I wish all you guys the best of luck with this, although I am sad to see Myrhial go and I really hope that she and any other ex-NARAKA people who decide to get in on this will not be offended at my decision to stick with Veto.

I personally would only recruit RP corps, but its not really up to me, and I suspect we'll be recruiting a lot of non-rpers ala-CVA and U'K

I want a healthy mix of both.
There's just going to be no way to accomplish the goals I have for the alliance while just recruiting from the RP community only. There's just not enough people interested in Angels.
RP in alliance chat is not required. There are multiple channels for members to RP in, including an alliance IC channel, your corp's IC channel and an alliance bar run by -RIA-. If you choose to have your corp chat completely IC, that's fine as well.
And yes, it has been said. We're looking for corps. Specifically ship production corps and pvp corps. I'm also looking for a handful of pilots willing to run an academy where we will recruit new players or old players new to pvp

The way I see it: If people who are in the alliance work for the betterment of the alliance they are working for the Cartel through that and thus can be seen as "roleplaying" even thought they might never set foot into an RP channel.

I agree...
But some people are put off by the idea of RP... like I was before I really got into it. I had to be eased into it and I'm sure many others will need to be as well. There is nothing gained by forcing it upon them, let them join the RP channels and interact as they wish
