I think people need to let other people RP how they wish until it begins to adversely affect others. Ava's son has watched the summit a handful of times (twice, if you wonder, early mornings EST usually, when it tends to be me, Andy, and a few other pretty kid-friendly people) for a couple of minutes, and he cannot reply to anything, he can just watch. Ava would probably let him talk to someone like Andy with no worries, but she simply wishes to limit his access to everyone else. Why? Because they're scum.
