New article and possibly live event!

Nicely painted portrait too, rather than a game avatar. Possible signal of a shift in policy for actors/events?

My current estimate is that this is prelude to an event arc or a feature reveal at Vegas. The portrait's certainly an interesting one, too! I wonder if it was convenient concept art, or if CCP's got a big thing brewing...?

Jeez, if this is another one of those events where those in the game are locked out of participating unless they somehow have the real life time and money to spare to go to Vegas or Fanfest, that's one hell of a downer.
Remember when doing stuff in the game was a thing?

If it's a feature reveal, it's of course going to be at an event. This isn't to say that there won't be happenings we can't influence to some degree in the lead-up, or happenings following the reveal.

Yeah, history shows that is not a priority for CCP.
