Looking for some help

Not sure if this is the right board, but I think it's close enough.
So, during the downtime the other day, I started up my own forum website using simple machine forum.  I've had some experience with phpBB forum, and well, simple machines is a lot better.
Anyway, the purpose of this post is I would like to know what, if any packages are used by Backstage, mostly in terms of the post editor or if there are any packages you would recommend using.
