Well, I just got off work, and now I'm sitting in a public library DLing the patch so I can go home and actually install it on my computer. So I'm hoping it doesn't corrupt at some point, because I only have a few minutes left before they close and DLing it at home... that isn't really much of an option considering the way the wireless has been acting :bash:.

Too all of you that were able to DL and play with it already... =p

Cheekbones are probably the least cooperative part of the editor, aside from the avatars' insistence on moving around constantly.

Spent over an hour today trying to get something at least close to this from last night, but the best I could get was this instead after an hour or more of tweaking just the cheekbones alone. (Ingame version here.)

Going to wait a day or two before I petition for a do-over so I can play with the editor more to see if it wasn't just CCP silently tweaking the skeletal structures again and not me screwing up somewhere.

Patched, and Inara is created with... minimal change. You heard that right, very little change from Old to New; she's just spent a bit more time at her planetary estates and got a little bit of a tan.

Character creator will change a little bit. Everyone will get one more shot. Unclear when, but I'd assume this is sooner than the appearance of tattoos and stuff (which will trigger another free portrait modification chance).

Good news. The 'save' button was highly ambiguous and I'm not surprised at all that some people were caught out by that.
