They said the Mordu ships will be second only to Angels in terms of speed. The frig and the cruiser look fast.

But dat BS. Can you imagine that going at 1.8km/s? It's going to look stupid xD

I do really like the frigate and cruisers and can't wait to see them skinned in Mordu colours. But goddamn that Battleship is so dumb /o\

I think the wings of the Garmur are from/taken/inspired by the F35 Lightning II. Because, I believe Galanpang (CCP Shanghai) had a art collection with all the dust concept art, plus a picture of the F35 was in his folder (from where I got some stuff for the wiki). Sadly I cant find the link. :(

Another art folder from Galapang: http://www.dust514-france.fr/concept-art-par-galan-pang/

Ok, I'll admit I laughed at this one.  That being said, I imagine there's a whole line of frying pan jokes just lining up for the Battleship.  Maybe EVE is trying to attract abusive Wives to the game?

Cal/Gal, according to Rise.

The realisation that we will never be seeing a Cal/Min faction makes me weep.

So it wasn't enough for the nematodes at CCP to fuck up my beloved Scorpion?
Oh no, they had to know ruin the magnificence that was the Moa.

For this they deserve rendition to unknown locations and waterboarding along with having electrodes hooked to a car battery applied to sensitive parts of their body.
I've an idea CCP, go right on ahead and make spheres as models for every ship, that'll be nice and symmetrical.

Symmetry is the new black?

Must admit to being a bit puzzled as to why they felt the need to change the Moa hull quite so much. Particularly when most of the previous hull changes to existing models have been more along the lines of minor adjustments.

Probably because unlike the Maller, Sentinel or Scorpion, the Moa was famously ugly and CCP decided they needed to do something drastic to fix it.

I thought that got reskinned fairly recently?

Eve ships are all fairly low poly-counts on purpose though (so the engine can have 500 of them around at a time).  I'm not sure why it always takes so long to get these things out of the modeler pipelines and into the game.
