So, Ashley Sky, frankly one of my best griefers, decides to arrange a race. 70+ frigates report, many Dramiels among them (naturally, being the fastest.)
Our finish line: a toxic gas cloud.

Poor yutzes didn't even get a chance to warp out.

That's just so fucking awesome
I guess they will remember from now on
-
Oh yes. We plan to make this a regular event. Taking different guises, though, the race thing is used up.
I think we'll try to infil some empire miners next... gangwarp their mining barges into the cloud.

Fucking flatulence, how does it work?

It breaks my heart when ignorant people abuse fine Cartel ships like that ;( Except I am laughing too hard at how brilliantly mean this is.

thats why I'm in favour of this. It takes our fine vessels away from idiots.
-
Okay thats hilarious :)
-
Oh... my... God...
That's... just made of win.
EDIT: Question if you can tell me - did one of you get the mission and go "huh, if I were in a frigate this would instapop me.." or did you have your guys pop missions until someone got the Recon chain?
-
Props for the imaginative use of mission-generated content.
And answering the question "why people still trust you", you will need to find a psichology expert and ask him. You will be amused by the answer.
-
Recon 3/3 traps have been used before for griefing, so that part of the idea isn't new. I assume they spawned missions till they got it.

I'm not a fan of griefing, but one must give credit where it is due.
I see mostly rookie ship wrecks in that pic from the EVE-O link, however.
Reminds me though of when I was running one of these (L4) and had a friend come help me out in a BC. Poor soul didn't last too long but they did get a new ship. (Though, I had lent them the one they lost, lol.)
Edit: Removed question answered by reading the entire EVE-O thread.

Damn, I was in the area at the time too. Good thing I'm not trusting enough to join fleet with people I don't know...
-
Im not the biggest fan of greifing, but that is hilarious. I do feel sorry for all the lost Dramiels that would have obviously been put to better use in someone elses hands.
-
I don't... more money for the Angel Cartel. And the mission runners who get their stuff.
-
The trick is to make the reward appear good enough for them to take the risk. See also; Viper recently. But yeah. It's quite amusing how easy it is to turn greed on someone and fuck them over because of it. Read this and got a good laugh.
