It seems there are some new ones :P Among the best is the 'Laven' or Laser Raven, created after this image was relased:

I always did wonder why it had to be a laser Raven shooting at the planet. Of all the other more likely ships, let's glorify the Raven with a fit you will never see.... :roll:
I mean seriously - Rohk, Megathron, Dominix, Apocalypse, Armageddon, Tempest etc. etc. etc. not to mention any turret ship other than a BS... why not use any of those? Why use a ship/fitting that by all indications are complete crap compared to so many alternatives?

Silly, young'uns. Laser Ravens used to be a thing. You can see one shooting lasers in one of the oooollllllllld trailers.
Edit to add: Silver probably had two that he built after mining all the minerals himself with a Bantam and a spoon, because mining lasers weren't invented yet.
Which is the EVE meme that comes to my mind first: "Back in Silver's day, they..."

It appears the 'Laser Raven' curse is spreading through Caldari space. Most recently affected: the Corax (which is interesting, as it doesn't have any turret slots...)

I dunno why they don't just stick with the missiles for Caldari boat art. Missiles look boss as hell, particularly now that they're all updated.

To be quite honest, I understand that in early EVE, "lasers on everything" was a thing. This was probably better than my original fitting style as a newbie, "fit the largest gun you can cram in and then see what else still fits". With large energy turret cap use reduced and Amarr ships losing large energy turret capacitor use bonus (except Navy Armageddon), it is technically as viable to fit lasers on another race's ships as it is, say, to a future normal Armageddon.
