Hey everyone! As you can all see from the 10 page thread, there's new portraits on Sisi. However, not everyone gets a chance to get on Sisi to test them out.
I've been recreating people's portraits in Sisi as best as I can, and I decided to open up that invitation to everyone here. Of course, on the current build there's a lot of assets missing and what is available is very limited, but I still thought I'd offer so people can get a rough estimate of how they can look.

Weee, madpropz to Ikarus Gaul portrait, that's very good.
Also nice job with Seriphyn, considering you can't change the hair colour or add eyebrows.

I've not had the time to spend on Sisi and would be interested to see how close you could get to my current portrait, though I was planning on using some other reference photos when I did it for real. >.>

So I've put up 5mil ISK for slick-looking portraits of the racial archetypes for use in my icons project. Looking in here, I think I'll probably end up depositing quite a bit of that into your account, Mierin. These are really excellent given the current state of the creator. Any chance I could get you to take a crack at Kenreikko Valitonen or Lilen enDama?

I have failed. No matter how I manipulate the Intaki female face, it looks terrible. As with the Sebiestor male face, the nose length is entirely too long. So much so that it makes the rest of the face seem odd. The lips, for example, seem out of place. As such, I have also remade Lilen as a Gallente, which, surprisingly, looks more Intaki than an Intaki.

I've tried to recreate Kyber on SiSi and had no real success; it'd be neat to see what someone with the ability to create more accurate portraits could come up with. :D

Thanks for the quick turnaround on the portrait requests! I used what you came up with for Ken as the basis for my new forum avatar. Gave him the Commander Shepherd treatment. Oh, and eyebrows. :D

The one for Saxon is totally awesome. Ive played around a bit with it(still need to post some pics), but Id be curious to see what you could do for Ember.

I'm loving the idea of updating our licence images, by the way. I figure that after two years, a baby, a break-up, a change in career and all the rest, Mata will at least have a new hairstyle.

New Character creator is up. Still lacking, but it's improved. Sunglasses + Cranial Implants are now available. :D

Also, I'm desperately seeking screens of a slick-looking Achura male, Khanid male, Ni-Kunni female, and True Amarr male avatar for the appropriate entries in Iconocracy... Anyone willing to cook those up? :)

Just an FYI. Last I checked and heard, all of the female avatars are not showing up, period. But they could have patched it since last night. Males seem to work. But I couldn't change the settings for weight and build on the one I tried (Brutor). Sculpting was must easier though I thought.

Just tried after a Sisi restart. Still no female models. Musculature changes work, but not weight. Sculpting is WAY better. UI is improved overall, but very much a WIP.

I also made a Jamie Foxx look-alike, a Chow Yun-fat look-alike, and a Sideshow Bob look-alike.

Now that is looking good! Couple more months of polish on this should really do the trick. Random, the background in that pic makes me think of the (totally rad) laser backdrop you could get on school pictures.
/me is hungry for more screens.

Fiddled again, still no female avatars, but the sculpting is waaaaaaayyy better. The new menu system is loaded with bugs but is such a huge improvement over the old one that I don't mind.
Overall, this has really rekindled my excitement in the new portraits, not only that, but its restored my faith in CCP as a company. The fact that they decided to, 1, listen to their playerbase and change the menu system completely, 2, have the guts to say, we're not done, we're pushing back the release date, and 3, the fact that they've committed to not releasing a buggy product.
Its a huge step forward, IMO.

Random Brutor (http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2378/20101112044400.png) Much, much love for both the Brutor and Gallente. Easily modified, and you can achieve a large amount of variation with each.
Hair is a little glitchy on my comp, so I haven't tried the different hair styles (aside from the cranial implants). I'm looking forward to trying out the female avatars.

They are pretty awesome. I want the Khanid hair + implant style, that would make me so happy. I'm crossing my fingers they have it in the final version. Otherwise I'll have to switch to the long hair, Sephiroth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sephiroth_(Final_Fantasy)) style.

I hope they fix the khanid look, I am afraid to even request on of my yet, or go on Sisi to give it a try.

The beta of the character creation is up again after a mass test? In that case, I'd need to give it a try.
Also, shamelessly borrowing from SHC, I thought the general consensus was that the long-haired style currently in the creator was Fabio instead of Sepiroth.

New chargen is back up...second version but now a lot more updated. Scarring/freckles work, more skin tones beyond just three, and facial hair is now nice and bristly.

Hey all, I'm back (kinda). Apologies to anyone who's requested a pic since I've been gone. Last month got kinda busy, I got married in Aussieland (actually I'm still stuck here) and some other things that got kinda crazy! But I'll start working again as soon as I can.
