Is Herko Kerghans Still Around?

I was wondering, since Herko Kerghans' last post on IGS Forums dates 2006.08.21, if he is still around?

He sort of vanished. I didn't know it was that long ago, but yeah - unfortunately no one knows if he just quit or what.

His disappearance was so sudden (he was in the middle of a few projects I think) that I tend to think something bad happened out of game.

The suddenness of his departure and the continued absence from the community at large (when so many come back, even if only for a little while) made me wonder if something bad had happened. I mean, he was prolific and involved. Such rabid forum whores don't usually just disappear after all!

Now I tend to think that after returning home (he worked abroad) he decided to simply cut loose from all things Eve.
