Title: Navy day, an interest check.

Right, I've had a daft idea and I'd like the opinion of the assorted massss if possible. I was thinking about organising an Imperial shindig, sort of along the lines of the PIE event that would be a celebration of the Imperial Navy. Basically it's going to culminate in a ball of sorts at one of Z's family homes. Whilst there will be baseliners present, this is mainly going to be a Capsuleer thing. This will also be very special because folk from outside the Empire will be invited to take part in the festivities.

ATM this is very much speculative and I'd just like your thoughts on the matter, whether its the best thing since sliced bread or a steaming pile of arse. I also thought it would be fun since we haven't had any big rp shindigs lately.
With that, I open this idea up to your opinions, objections and suggestions.

It does sound interesting and I would think Steff would show up, just not sure how she'd be invited to it, but that's something that can be worked on.

Wold be interested from a pro-Minmatar POV, we are in FW and thus against Sarum's fleet and the Navy. 

But only with your blessing of course, we would likely be turning up to fight any FW supporters in the area.

I'd also like to implement this into PANDORA in some way too  ;)

I can tell you there's going to be very little space pew going on, if any. Also I'm going to post a thread on the IGS so you cn register interest icly there.

Sounds like an intriguing event. Although it wouldn't make sense for my character to be present there, I hope it'll be a success and benefit the Amarr loyalist community.

Ché has no interest in celebrating the Imperial Navy, but...
He does have a couple Navy Slicers sitting in a hangar collecting dust, and he might not be able to resist coming to this event if there's a sub-warp frigate race there.
