I gave it a look last night for a couple of minutes. I also have mixed feelings, the generator is awesome and the look now is believable, much more than before.

But the morphing procedure and how you move and twist the body shape....well its not very easy to handle or at least i havent been able to get a finer refinemnt on it.

Clothes are also one point i like, but is the hair styles of the gallente that i don't quite like, for example the "bush-like" haircut that my character currently shows ingame is not available with the new character creator.

So i guess it will a change of style for my current char, but i'll have to spend a great deal of time "rehearsing" until i get the look and feel i want.

I was able to manage a passable Celeste this time (though, aggravatingly, without the right color hair -- which should be the same shade as her lipstick --  or a decent business suit).

Vieve's still meh.  I haven't even tried to design Sabi yet.

I don't think everyone wants to recreate the exact same avatar; I don't think that's even possible. However, you can identify aspects of the existing image (or character) that matter to you, try to implement those, and build around that.

I kinda do. But, in my defense, my avatar is awesome.

The female musculature is totally lacking. I know this release is focused on the face, but I can't get a toon built remotely how I envision Mit being.

P.S. It still stinks there is to export/import because I'm terrified that I have to do this myself and will screw it up royally for all time :(

I'm hoping there will be one, but am not keeping my fingers crossed. Just keep working with the editor and eventually you'll get comfortable enough with it to produce similar results each time. Hell, it didn't take me too long to put together a basic remake of Morwen (Pics: 1 2 3 4 5) when I wasn't paying attention to my TQ client, and I came up with a decent facsimile of someone else's character (Pics: 1 2 3 4) as well in a fairly short time. Just takes some practice.

Fun little tool to play with, to be honest. Pity you'll really only get to play with it when creating a new character or changing portraits - should be interesting to see how that process ends up changing when the next part of the expansion goes live. :)

Morwen's Law:
1) The number of capsuleer women who are bisexual is greater than the number who are lesbian.
2) Most of the former group appear lesbian due to a lack of suitable male partners to go around.
3) The lack of suitable male partners can be summed up in most cases thusly: interested, worth the air they breathe, available; pick two.

I havent got a sketch-up of Math'ra that even comes CLOSE to being accurate.

As such, be entertained by my alt Andrea Tander, whom I think came out perfectly!

Baroness Gaga, tyvm. :P

And ha!   After today's update, I was able to make a Vieve that I think is more Vieve-y looking (just ignore the Veto racing jacket).
