Who's fucking excited about this game?
o/ <--- This guy.

Yep, a sci-fi Bastion. Can't really go wrong. :D

It looks like the art and sound direction of this one is going to surpass Bastion's. The music that went along with that trailer is absolutely gorgeous. I just wish the full version of the song was already out, it's driving me nuts to repeat the same 1 minute snippet over and over.

Wow.

Great! :)

Actually heard of it here, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPyD4FuvuOE

Same vid without the commentary. Let's you pay attention to the game itself. Love how the music changes when you go into the action planning mode. :3

Seems cool, only thing that bugged me was the running of the chick.
It's like being aware of the loud intake of breath by the singer of the Muse.
...or hearing the cowbell in the 'Don't Fear the Reaper.'

Just finished the game myself. Wowzors. Great game. Awesome universe. I really like the concept behind Cloudbank and all the possibilities. It is almost a utopia, but not really a utopia. Bittersweet ending.
As an aside, I could totally see a Gallente city being similar to Cloudbank, minus all the instant constructing/deconstructing stuff.

Loved it. Played it through twice (though it's been a while, now).
I'm not sure what others thought, but it seems to me that Transistor, in its entirety, is already set inside an upload civilization. Much is explained by this: the instant construction, the "creative" economy, the power of the transistor, the nature of the enemies-- heck, the designer reality. The one exception is time: apparently this is a virtual reality where people do nevertheless age.
If this is the case, the "transistor" itself is not a gateway to anything new; it's a disruptive force, and a gateway to somewhere else with, apparently, at least one different rule, but not to a fundamentally different reality. It's not an upload device; it's just a connection between virtual realities.
Plot twist: Cloudbank is located inside a server farm in an installation somewhere in Anoikis and everybody is Sleeper.
