Not really sure, at this point. I've been on vacation, was like this when I got back. Looked like a domain issue, but I checked on the domain billing etc today and it looked fine. Refreshed the site, and it was back up. So, in short, everything looks fine, seems to be back up, only downside is that it isn't clear what happened in the first place yet.

If it helps, there was a period of time that a few of us could connect but the rest couldn't. No idea what that means.

I was away from the internet for several days. The hosting and domain had both recently renewed, but there weren't any issues, and I got successful confirmations on both well before I left. :s

I haven't seen anything on the hosting side or received any other alerts. If it was inconsistent connectivity it's more likely to have been a routing issue (DNS, etc.).

I'm just glad it's back. Thanks Silver (and anyone else involved in the fix!)

The only inconsistency I know of was that the lack of connectivity seemed to spread - at first, Euros were reporting issues while it was fine for US folks, and then it died for the US folks as well a few hours later. For a few days Jace and Kharakan could see it, but then they lost access too. It seems that once it went down for someone, it went down totally.
I'm still generally inclined to blame DNS, though. Despite not really knowing how that works in relation to the domain registration and renewal. :P

Yeah, it being related to the domain is what I suspect. But it seems to have been resolved.
