The movie is The Room, from 2003. It's considered to be one of the best worst films of all time, due to the horrible acting, weird music, awkwardly placed and spoken lines, and incomprehensible storyline. Also, the main character is also the director, producer, writer, and basically funded the whole thing.

There are far better artistic films since Citizen Kane, which was a wholely unentertaining, but absolutely smashing film that should be required study in every literature class.
