Wasn't sure if this was the right section but.
I quick scroll by pressing my scroll wheeland then moving my mouse the way I want to go.
Recently, If I happen to have my mouse over a post that has a quote in it and press my scroll wheel that post will scroll up and disappear, so that I am left with a blank post.
It's been happening for the last month, I guess. It isn't too annoying, just curious if it is my browser (Chrome) being derp or not.

Just tested it, I experience no problems.

I can get it to do that too.
Weird.
solution: don't press scrollwheel, lol o.O

I have successfully vanished Louella's post using the method described.
Hax!

Never! Too built into my ways to stop now ^^

<jargon>Seems to have to do with the overflow: auto; attribute on blockquote.bbc_standard_quote.</jargon> Weird.

I'm not getting it either. Is your version of Chrome up to date, Deadie? (I haven't updated in a day or two, so...)
-
It might be theme-specific; I'm using the Back in Black one.
-
I'm using the white theme and it happens to me too. Glorious.
But as I mostly scroll by... scrolling, it's not a huge issue for me :P
-
Chrome is update and using the default theme :)
It's not a big issue. Worse comes to worse I reload the page. Was just wondering if I was special or not :D
-
Hm, ok. It's doing it on my work laptop, which is using an updated version of Chrome (and I'm using the BiB theme as well, so...).
Guess the solution for now is to just not update/restart Chrome or deal with it.

Hax!
I can confirm it as well.

I'm using Opera.
-
it only happens if you press the scrollwheel while the cursor is over the quotebox. the rest of the post is fine.
-
Yep, I get it too. Weird. Also, works in any direction, at least for me (so if you move the mouse so it scrolls int he other direction, the quote comes back).
Very strange.

Well, I had to struggle to reproduce that bug.

ITT, DeadRow is a bad, breaks forum, teaches everyone else how to do it.

You're very special. :P

Was able to reproduce it myself and I'm using Chrome and the dark theme (which I believe is the default theme).
Think I'll check this out on my forum and see if I can duplicate it there; it's the latest version of SMF, so at the very least will be able to tell if it's Chrome or SMF?
UPDATE: Just quoted a post in SMF 2.0.4 and was able to reproduce the scroll-wheel issue so it does seem to be how Chrome handles SMF.
