Greetings,
I have joined this forum mainly because I am interested in a few things:

• I want to learn how to role play.
• I want to learn how to develop my character's backstory.
• I want to learn how to develop a corporation backstory.

I know these are very specific things, but that's mainly why I am here.

Welcome to Backstage!

We have a lot of player created threats, content and discussion in here, so you might feel a bit of information overload as you start, however I really recommend starting at some basics and working from there. Take your time, and don't sweat it! Who does your character work for, why, loyalities and citizenship? Family? From there, you can start to flesh out.

For roleplay, consider your character and their motivations. Some basic likes and dislikes. Get yourself in "The Summit" and "Intergalactic Summit" in game channels and start interacting. Take cues from other players on the basics, such as '/me' emotes for performing actions. Hey, I'm pretty new to this whole thing as well. As an Intaki character I've found the ILF website really helpful in fleshing out my character http://www.ilfcorp.com/ .

They've got lots of info on Intaki culture and language and the like.
