Hey everyone,
So.. I am.. Well.. I am me :D
Nah, hey guys, i am fairly new to the game.. Who am i kidding, I'm a 6 day old character, haha! And i was told to introduce myself on this forum in particular, so here i am! :D
I have chosen to play Amarr mainly because my first opening to this game was some Curzon Dax songs (Amarrian Pie, haha!) and hearing a lot from my mates about Providence and other EVE Parody songs, that was also what got me interested in EVE Online, umm.. I love the role-play, i see a few familiar faces here as well that will already know me, and for those of you who don't i hope i can change that soon!
What do i love about Role-playing.. Hmm.. Being someone different, someone i wish i could be, and no, i am not some super hero that fights with a Frigate against a million foes with mind bullets (Seriously have heard and seen some weird characters, haha!) i am just a humble cadet of the Imperial Academy :) umm.. I would like to get more into the community as a whole and become a fairly well known member of it and would love to get more in-depth into this game as time goes on, so yeah..
That is about it.. Oh, i am a fairly mature person too (22 years old) so i am not some kid, despite what some think :( just give me a chance, i am a pretty decent person i have been told :) hope to hear from you soon! Both IC and OOC! :D

Thanks guys! Seriously, means a lot! And i figured why the hell not, Eli is a strong brave bastard, why should he hide his views while others get to spew there rabble and i can't? :P
Hope you guys enjoy me for a while longer and don't get sick of me :P
I won't be online for a bit though, got a bug with EVE, ships and background looks beautiful, but my menu and all my writing is blurred and impossible to see, all the letters look like squares :(

Eli, that's most likely one of your graphics driver settings. Its something to do with texture mapping.

Eli, I'm going to guess that you have an ATI card. Go into your Catalyst control panel, and look for the Mipmap or Texture Filtering Quality under the 3D settings. Make sure that it's set to Standard or higher, or maybe to use the application's setting. You might have to fiddle with it some.

I am not sure to understand how texturing would be related to fonts... But try to update your drivers regardless, they do not only drive texture mapping.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies, with Apple you can't download nVidia drivers.. They aren't Apple compatible for some stupid reason.. Anyone know a fix for that? Sorry guys..

Maybe you should ask on the technical official forums. They probably have a lot more experience of what could go wrong with Apple clients.

I'll do that when i get home, since work decided to block EVE Forums without asking me, i am going to download the new non-beta OS X for my Computer, and a new install of EVE :P
