  Nabil is from a lower tiered level of Holders in the Ardishapur family's court.  His family has been in the service of the Ardishapurs for around a millennium or so, but has never really become a leading family in the court.  Like many families that have had ill luck they have a great pedigree but lack two space nickels to rub together.  Without the financial resources to enter into higher learning (other than theological training of course) he was forced to join the Imperial Ground forces as an enlistee first and compete for a scholarship to the Academy in order to become an officer.  Later he earned a place in the coveted Capsuleer program for the Imperial Academy and is currently studying Special Forces tactics.  He is a fierce proponent that hard work and dedication to God is the secret to rising in station, and has dedicated his life to improving his families standing in the Empire.  He is a witty (and at times sardonic) man with a pension for egging people into debates.  Debates he generally wins (or believes he wins) due to persistence and quick witted ad hominems, rather than actually convincing his opponent.  He has a tendency to be dismissive of those he considers beneath him, and has very vocal opinions on almost every issue imaginable.
  Physically he stands a bit shorter than average at 175 cm and weighs only 75kg.  He has lightly tanned skin that is heavily freckled, and greenish-blueish eyes.  He prefers to dress in long robes with his hood resting precariously on the top of his head.
