Title: Sir Patrick Moore Dies at Age 89

Admittedly this might be aimed more at the UK audience, but I was deeply saddened when I returned from work today to find that astronomer Sir Patrick Moore had passed away.

Another star has gone out today, and I think many people will miss him.

I think it is fair to say he lived a full life.

It is sad to see any cultural icon pass away, at least he will live on in people he has inspired.
